Book Therapy: The Compassionate Mind Guide to Overcome Anxiety

I’m starting a new monthly video series where I pick one mental health/self-help book to highlight. My goal is to summarize the book and provide 3 key insights that you can take away from watching this video.

Hopefully, you’re then inspired to go read the entire book. But if you decide not to, that’s ok too; my goal is at least you’ll gain some nuggets of wisdom to help you.

The first Book Therapy pick is “The Compassionate-Mind Guide to Overcoming Anxiety: Using Compassion-Focused Therapy to Calm Worry, Panic, and Fear” by Dennis D. Tirch, PhD. It’s a great resource to start working on your anxiety as well as treating yourself with some more kindness.
